According to US media reports, the Cessna 550 jet departed from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey late on Wednesday night (local time) and made a fuel stop in Wichita, Kansas, before continuing its journey to Southern California.
Tragically, the plane never made it to its final destination—San Diego’s Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport. Instead, it crashed around 4am Pacific time, approximately two miles from the runway.
